New For June.

As I mentioned in an earlier update, in October, Fairwood Press will bring out a collection of my stories and poems called Tropes. And the pre-order link has just gone live! This is just for the physical books—in the future, no matter where you are in the world, you’ll be able to buy e-books from a range of vendors.

And isn’t this a gorgeous cover by Tom Canty? He’s one of my favorite artists in the science fiction/fantasy field. If you look closely, you can see some of the blessing glyphs incorporated into the border. That’s because the collection includes a novella from the Elemental Blessings world, as well as stories and poems about unicorns, ghosts, spooky houses, and fairy tales.

My plan is to attend World Fantasy Convention in Oakland October 22-25, where I’ll be able to sign copies of the book in person. I hope to see you there!
